On a personal note, I’m a mom & stepmom to three boys, first responder spouse, New York transplant from the Northwest, Gonzaga alum (Go Zags!), elder millennial, introvert (INFJ if you’re into that sort of thing).

I’m a daily fiction reader and have been writing stories and “creating content” literally longer than I can remember. As a young kid, I made picture books by stapling together folded pieces of paper. As a preteen, I borrowed my mom’s old typewriter and made zines out of cut-and-glued scraps of writing. As a teen, I wrote all kinds of things, mostly cringey and sometimes posted on LiveJournal. In college, I churned out papers in pursuit of my English literature degree. And as an adult, I’ve been lucky enough to have writing and editing as part of every post-college job I’ve had.
